BIO: Madison Freeze Hockey

This team is a spin off of University Wisconsin Club team in Madison Wisconsin that originated in the early 1970's, they played in the Minnesota Hockey league. (MWHA) Then in the early 1990's the team split up into 2 Teams  (inside edge & outside edge).  In (1997) we were sponsored by Fast Forward skating rink so the name changed to Fast Forward Freeze. So (inside edge) now is the Madison Edge & (outside) is Madison Fast Forward Freeze. We play in the same league.

In 1999 we became the Madison Freeze, but we had so many people that were interested in playing that we started 2 teams: a B-level team  (green) advanced & the C-level team (white) beginners level. In (2000),  it was announced,  there is only going to be a C-level team, the B-level team dissolved due to growth in other programs. The C-level team will still play in the C-level League.

We are recruiting now for the 2005-2006 season. The ages of all the players run the gamit, from 18-40's yrs, so don't let that stop you. if you know of anybody or you want more information, please email our reps under contacts.
